Thank YOU all for helping create and make the first GETDOWN Music Festival & Campout such a memorable success! It couldn’t have been done without you! You all ROCK; and given it was pretty much everyone’s first festival production; I think we all did an EXCELLENT JOB given all of the circumstances! You all should be very proud of what you helped achieve as I am so proud of you ALL!!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent TEAM work!
While it is all still very fresh in our minds; I will be setting up a review dinner/meeting most likely at Abbey Road in Cary within the next 1-2 weeks so that we may reflect and review our strengths and weaknesses during running the festival so that we get that much better the next time around. Until that time; please start to think about and jot down any/all items that come to mind so that we can review and address them as appropriate. We don’t necessarily need to solve these problems now; but should list them all as ‘opportunities for improvement’.
In addition, we may have a couple of “Cleanup Sunday’s” over the next couple of months out at good ‘ol Possum HollEr (yes, it’s official….ER) – stay tuned for these dates..
I know that I don’t have EVERYone on copy on this e-mail that should be on it; so please pass it on to all of those folks that contributed to The GETDOWN’s success. MANY people want to further help us out with future festivals; I think we should embrace them and listen to the music…peace ya’ll,
~Bran

Subject: Thank YOU!!
A quick little note just saying thank YOU all for making the first annual GETDOWN Music Festival & Campout such a huge memorable success. Myself and I think most every band member, vendor, staff/crew and festival attendee were blown away and said that they hadn’t ever been to a festival that much fun; the property incredible; the hospitality excellent and the vibes cool as hell. Operationally, I couldn’t have asked for much better from my team - excellent execution within all of the departmental functions and the production staff stayed on schedule and the sound and lights (and weather) – GREAT! Overall, every aspect of the festival exceeded my expectations in every which way possible and thank you all again for being a part of it. No doubt, your compliments encourage the team and I to do it again (and again and again...). Personally, working on The GETDOWN for nearly a year surely was the toughest endeavor in my life - especially being the first festival I've ever produced; however I can honestly say that it was incredibly FUN and I can't wait to do it again even bigger and better. (not much bigger, but definitely with more camping space...ha!) I'm really excited about future opportunities in the festival arena and grateful for being able to help shape a scene for our own music community here in north cakalaky!
Peace, love and music -
~Brandon
