Space rock or psychedelic trance rock - whatever you want to call it, Silver Machine is a new band out of Asheville, NC which mixes tight funky grooves with wild experimentation. Featuring a 'Theremin' (a retro-futuristic electronic instrument from the 1920's), Silver Machine has a spooky, laptop-free, far-out sound alot like the old Science Fiction and Horror film soundtracks from the past.

man i've gotta try and hit this show...i'm doing the nashville>bham run the weekend before, but i want to go to the Orange Peel the night before this....might be a 2 weekender, but worth it as I've never been the the Neighborhood Theatre
