This is a benefit for a 17 year old boy whose cancer has come out of remission.  He lost his right foot and leg to it when he was 10, and now the doctors have found four more tumors!

This will be a FREE family friendly event, and donations to Glen Allister's Guardian Angel Fund are much appreciated.  All contributions will be donated directly to the Glen Allister Guardian Angel Fund since all of the bands, the property owner, and folks working at the benefit have volunteered their goods and services.  There will also be a raffle for items such as: autographed Josh Phillips CD, autographed Outformation poster, autographed Hackensaw Boys poster, autographed Railroad Earth newsletter.

A lot of volunteers are working hard to make this benefit a success, so please come out and support the Guardian Angel Jam Memorial Day weekend.   You will be supporting a great cause, as well as getting a chance to check out some great music at a great location.   The site is located about 20 minutes south of Greensboro and is where the first MantraBash (2007) was held and where the RootDown Family Fest was held last year.  Music will be on until 11:00 Friday and Saturday night (anything after 11:00 will be acoustic) and you are welcome to camp on site.

Here is the schedule so far:

Fri:
4:30-5:30 Ryan McLeod Band
5:30-6 Jasper & Crewless
6-7:30 Tennessee Jed
7:30-8 Jasper & Crewless
8-10+ Yo Mamas Big Fat Booty Band
10+-11 Jasper and Crewless

Sat:
12-1:30 Electric Soul Pandemic (ESP)
1:30-2 Jasper & Crewless
2-3 Ryan McLeod Band
3-3:30 Jasper & Crewless
3:30-5 Vintage Reserve
5-5:30 Jasper & Crewless
5:30-7:30 Yesterdays Gravy
7:30-8 Jasper & Crewless
8-11 The Mantras

Please note: since the flyer was created the Ryan McLeod Band has been added and instead of Mac & Juice all of Vintage Reserve will be there.
