The picture is becoming clearer for me. Has anyone looked at Moon Taxi's schedule or listened to them? They do sound like a damn good pairing with The Mantras... Jammy, a little untzy, a little southern rock... we'll probably like them a lot but I cringed a little when I went to check them out.

Nov. 8 (House of Blues NoLa) Moon Taxi with Matisyahu (Live Nation)
Nov. 10 (Lincoln Theatre Raleigh) Moon Taxi with Matisyahu
 Monkey PissNov 10 (Fillmore CHARLOTTE) Moon Taxi with Matisyahu (Live Nation)

I cringed because Matisyahu usually plays at the NT.

I'll have a roll of duct tape wrapped around my face for the inevitable plug  whistle Would love to know how this pairing came about. I can only assume it's a trade off for The Mantras opening for them in Birmingham. That's pretty much how things work. Does suck that Charlotte get's kind of short changed again. We've had too many single set Mantras shows but this one I can understand... Woohoo the boys are reaching out to 'bama!! Fly... be free!

your right... we where gonna do the DD by ourselves but they are bringing us to Birmingham and we needed to trade... it's like baseball cards up in this bitch!

But Charlotteans don't fret... we are about to release a badass show in charlotte that WILL be two sets and be at our favorite neighborhood venue... more details tba soon
