Evelynn Rose supports

$15 @ the Door
price of ticket includes 1 raffle
Doors @ 7PM
Show @ 8PM

There will be lots of goodies to be raffled as well as a silent auction for items such as......

A signed bass by Widespread Panic
A guitar signed by local a regional artists including......Acoustic Syndicate, Jamie McLean Band, Jim Weider, Rodney Holmes, Mitch Stein, Steve Lucas, The Monday Nite All-Stars, Chris Duarte, Jeff Sipe, and Steve Bailey.....just to name a few.......oh and THE MANTRAS.

BLUEGROUND UNDERGRASS

www.bluegroundundergrass.com

Formed originally in 1998 by Jeff Mosier, Blueground Undergrass has developed a solid reputation and nationwide following by playing its multi-faceted music mix coast-to-coast. The band has always been known for exciting performances and eclectic arrangements. Its sonic wall of twang type sound pleases the whole spectrum of fans from hippies to cloggers to rockers, taking Blueground Undergrass to the brink of almost moshpit energy, yet guiding each show with song-driven clarity along the way.

THE MANTRAS

www.themantras.net

Formed in 2003, this Greensboro, NC quintet, consisting of Keith Allen (vox/guitar) vox,
Marcus Horth (vox, guitar) ; Brian Tyndall (bass, bkgrd vox), Brent Vaughn (percussion), and Justin Loew on drums, has been gaining an army of fans with their unique blend of rock, fusion, jazz, and funk, as well as their off the wall live shows.  It is not uncommon for the band to not only traverse these genres in a single performance, but to
do so in a single song. Reminiscent of the blistering energy found in early seventies recordings of Frank Zappa's touring band, the Mantras excel with their virtuosic playing and superior musicianship, all the while not losing sight of the overall arrangements and songs. The band shifts seamlessly from one type of music to the next, a truly well –oiled machine, honed tight from years of live shows.

EVELYNN ROSE

www.myspace.com/evelynnrose

Evelynn Rose is a booze-rock band founded in the heart of NoDa (Charlotte, North Carolina’s art district) in May of 2008.  The group started when singer/songwriter Joseph William met Joshua Wade via MySpace.com.  They began working together in order to produce an album that would successfully blend Williams Americana roots with Wades punk background.  Things progressed rapidly, and the two found themselves recording shortly after in a rented studio space at NoDa Studios (owned and operated by Johnny Colt from the Black Crowes).

What are you talking about Jack?  I think, maybe I'm wrong, but I think Kristine is referring to the 4/1 show that The Mantras were bumped from in favor of a frat band in Winston-Salem... what are you talking about?
