Knoxville has no clue what's about to happen at Preservation Pub on June 10th
There's been a lot of discussion about The Mantras over on Phantasy Tour. It's been pretty funny reading posts from people bitching about a relative "no name" playing the only "real" after party in town. There's a few other things going on in town... like DJs. Not exactly Phish after party kind of stuff and their attitudes are kind of like they feel they've been snubbed by not getting a "Big Band" for an after party... waahhhh
The few of us on PT hip to The Mantras have been trying to set things straight. Not that I care what PTers think but... I was thinking...
On June 8th @ 10:00pm let's get every Jabberwocky we know to HAMMER Phantasy Tour... I mean let's start a thread and send it to 499 in minutes, then start another (Mantras - cont.) and send it to 499 also...
What do you guys think? I think it will be a shit ton-o-fun and give the boys great national exposure
I have some unreleased Mantras from New Years, Spring Fling, and the Dead after party that I'll link up over there just for the occasion and lord knows we have plenty of great photos to link as well..
Who's down?

btw - it's phantasytour.com. Choose Phantasy Phish, then use the pull down menus in the upper right corner and choose "Message Boards". If you don't have an account you'll have to register. It's free
Believe it or not I'm not suggesting this because the show won't do well. It's pretty much a sell out already... the Phantasy Phish peeps are planning to make the after party their official KNoxville "get together" since there isn't squat going on and the venue has been giving away spots on the guest list.
My intention is get the other Phish PTers to go WTF when they see a thread hanging at the top all night long. NOTHING opens up eyes more on PT than a thread hitting 499 fast.

not that I like Phish but the Mantras are the $hit lets blow their faces off, and PT; I'm not impressed with the blogs there or the bashing, our stuff is much more relevant and on point

PT has a 24 hour waiting period. If you are going to participate in the PT Mantras Edification Program you will need to register on there (phantasytour) by sunday 6/7. |

Forgot about that...
This isn't about PT bashing... they're a good site that serves a great purpose. If it weren't for PT I'd have never got as hooked on SCI as I have and wouldn't be capable of taking my Phish Phinal. PT has been my tutoring center for Phish 101.
We should think of the Mantras Edification Program as Mantras 101 for the rest of the country. A chance for Jabberwockies to share with the rest of the country why we're fans of The Mantras
